Silver Fern Farms offers diverse career paths and we are always looking for talented people ready to reach their full potential.

Seasonal employment is based within our 21 processing plants where we also have permanent opportunities in production supervision and management, engineering and trades, health and safety, and quality assurance. Other functions including jobs in marketing, logistics, finance, IT and human resources, are carried out from the Corporate Office in Dunedin, or satellite support offices in Hastings and Christchurch.

Aware that people are the cornerstone of our business, we recognise talent and have mechanisms to ensure people reach their full potential. These include career progression and development through our Coaching Programme for seasonal employees and Performance Development Process (PDP) for permanent employees.

Seasonal employment is available at our plants around the country. For people with ambition and aptitude there is enormous potential for career progression within the company. We also employ students who simply want to earn some good money over the summer.
