Following a recent review and re-organisation of our IT team, Silver Fern Farms have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Technical Services expert.
Based in Dunedin, the Team Leader Technical Services will lead a team responsible for the stability, integrity and efficient operation of our IT services, systems and infrastructure. The role will also oversee the technical support, maintenance, installation and monitoring of these areas.
This is a highly technical role and as such, the successful applicant will be expected to take ownership for developing enterprise architecture plans and technical roadmaps, and will play an essential part in the delivery of new technologies to the business.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:
• A degree in the field of computer science and/or a minimum of five years equivalent work experience.
• A Microsoft certification in one or more relevant areas i.e. MCSE.
• Experience of managing a technical support team and leading a 2nd line technical support service.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Certification in VMWare, Citrix and/or Cisco would be a definite advantage.
