Following a recent review and re-organisation of our IT team, Silver Fern Farms have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Business Intelligence Architect.
Based in Dunedin and reporting to the Team Leader Business Solutions, this position will lead the technical direction of business intelligence within Silver Fern Farms and will be responsible for developing, extending and maintaining this infrastructure.
Working with the Business Intelligence Manager, the Business Intelligence Architect will be instrumental in developing BI services that ensure the right people get the right information at the right time.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes and skills:
- A diploma or degree in computer science (or similar) and a minimum of three years experience developing enterprise BI systems and services
- Microsoft or other BI certifications would be an advantage
- Proven understanding of data analysis models, structures, theories, principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of data modelling tools, particularly Microsoft
- Hands-on experience with data architecting, data analysis, data warehousing, data modelling, and mass data cleansing in a large and complex enterprise environment
- Working technical experience with designing and deploying enterprise-wide data management environments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
