Following a recent review and re-organisation of our IT team, Silver Fern Farms have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Web Developer.
Based in Dunedin and reporting to the Team Leader Business Solutions, this position is responsible for leading the development of web applications and services for Silver Fern Farms, this will include both internal and external customer facing systems.
The Web Developer role is a critical position in which the successful applicant will be a highly motivated IT professional, responsible for supporting the rapid growth and demand from the business and customers to provide more web enabled/online services.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes and skills:
· A diploma or degree in computer science (or similar) and a minimum of three years experience developing web applications and services
· In depth experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft .NET development platform for web design and development
· In-depth, hands-on knowledge of css, html, JavaScript, xml, flash and multi-media files
· Keen attention to detail and creative flair for website design
· Proven experience of web content management tools
· A provn track record in quality systems analysis, specification and design
· Excellent communication skills – both oral and verbal
